A helicopter yatra is the fastest and most comfortable way to reach Badrinath. Instead of a long ten to eleven hour drive on winding hill roads, you fly from Dehradun and get your darshan the same day. You reach Badrinath by helicopter as part of two journeys. One is the Do Dham Yatra, which covers Kedarnath and Badrinath. The other is the full Chardham Yatra, which covers Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath.
